We are currently in the process of raising funds to rebuild the basement of our building to provide renewed areas for our work.

The renovated area will provide space for use by Supergang, Streetlevel, Roots and Shoots and other community outreach programs.

Overview

It is recognised that within the town of Okehampton there is little in the way of resource venues for community groups and individuals alike. The youth of the town for instance have very limited places of welcome, whilst a local adult special-needs group are currently using the less-than-adequate facilities within the same building.

Refresh Cafe will be a newly refurbished, multi-purpose community resource and training facility, serving the fast-growing rural community of over 10,000 residents within the environs of Okehampton.

The facility will be used by several voluntary and funded user groups, focused on strengthening and serving the local community through training, education and enhancing social skills.
