As well as being a cafe and ice cream parlour, the Refresh: facility provides a venue Supergang, Streetlevel, Little Blessings, God's Heroes and other community outreach programmes.

Overview

It was recognised that within the town of Okehampton there was little in the way of resource venues for community groups and individuals alike. The youth of the town for instance have had very limited places of welcome. The vision for Refresh: emerged to meet those needs.

Refresh: cafe and ice cream parlour is a new multi-purpose community resource and training facility, serving Okehampton and environ's 10,000 (and growing) residents.

The facility will be used by several voluntary and funded user groups, focused on strengthening and serving the local community through training, education and enhancing social skills.
